Offices in Hampstead and West Hampstead are small, and most of them are above a shop. A practice over a café on West End Lane, an agency up a side door on Heath Street, consulting rooms on Rosslyn Hill, a salon on Fortune Green Road. There is rarely a reception or a building manager, which means the cleaner has the key, the alarm code and the last word on whether the door was locked. This is our home patch: our office is at 233 Finchley Road, between the two.
What office cleaning costs in Hampstead
From £30 an hour, agreed as a fixed monthly figure after a free look round. In a small office the hours come down to a few things: how often you want us in, how many washrooms there are, whether the kitchen or tea point gets real use, and whether there is a waiting room or treatment room that has to look right every morning. A two-room practice once a week and an agency with a busy kitchen three times a week are very different figures, and we would rather quote yours than give you an average.
Contracts are rolling monthly with thirty days’ notice, no twelve-month tie-in. If you run more than one branch, see contract cleaning.
The kinds of workplace we clean here
Practices and studios above shops
Accountants, architects, small law firms and design studios on West End Lane, Mill Lane, Hampstead High Street and Heath Street — four to twenty people, usually one or two floors up a narrow stair with no lift. It is a size a national contract cleaner prices badly and a one-person operation cannot cover when they are ill. Everything goes up by hand, the kitchen is a galley and the washroom is shared between everyone, so those two get the time.
Estate and letting agents
A shop front that the public walks into all day. The glass, the front desk, the floor by the door and the meeting area at the back are what customers see, so they are done first, and before the branch opens.
Consulting, therapy and treatment rooms
Along Rosslyn Hill, Fitzjohn’s Avenue and the Finchley Road side, the room has to be turned round between clients and nobody wants a cleaner in the building during sessions. Clients sit in these rooms, so the waiting area, the chairs, the washroom and every hard surface a client touches matter more than the desks. We work around the room bookings and clean when the rooms are empty.
Small clinics and salons
Hard floors, basins, mirrors and product residue, and a standard the customer judges the moment they walk in. These are usually cleaned before opening so the first appointment walks into a finished room.
Keys, alarms and the shared side door
The usual Hampstead office has a street door shared with the flat or the shop below, a key, an alarm panel and nobody on site before nine. How we handle that:
- Keys logged and held by our office, signed out for each visit and back in afterwards. They are not carried round between jobs.
- Alarm and door codes treated as personal data. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ZC256136); codes are kept on the job record, not in a text message.
- Locked, set and checked. The cleaner sets the alarm and checks the street door on the way out, and you get a message when the visit is done.
- One named contact at our end, so a change of code or a lost key goes to someone who knows the site.
Early, late or at weekends
We work 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 5pm on Sunday. For a shop-front office or a salon, the useful slot is usually first thing, before the door opens; for a practice that keeps late hours, after six. Weekend visits suit offices that close on Saturday or Sunday. We do not run overnight shifts.
Who cleans your office
Every cleaner is employed by us on PAYE, never agency or subcontracted, right-to-work verified and DBS checked, and signs an NDA as standard — which matters when the room is full of client files. The same named cleaner wherever possible, with cover from our own team, briefed on the site first, when they are ill or on holiday.
All services are managed by a BICSc-trained professional. Our Director is a BICSc member (PBICSc), Licence to Practice, membership no. 30107744.
- SSIP certificate SB9118300 — PQS Health & Safety Approved, SSIP Registered Member, valid to 29 September 2027 and listed on the SSIP portal.
- £5,000,000 public liability and £5,000,000 employers’ liability — the schedule goes out with the quotation.
- Risk assessment, method statement and COSHH register for your site file.
- ICO registration ZC256136, because door codes, fob lists and alarm codes are personal data.
The seven-day guarantee covers office work too. If something is not right, tell us within seven days and we come back and put it right.
