What’s different about cleaning in Kensal Rise
Builders' dust is a different job
Plaster and MDF dust gets into window tracks, light fittings, the tops of doors and the runners on every drawer, and it comes back twice after a normal clean. It needs three passes with the right filtration rather than one thorough one. If your flat has had work done in the last few months, say so when you book and we will plan for it.
Newly renovated does not mean easy to pass
A new kitchen photographs beautifully and still fails on the same things as an old one: the extractor filter straight out of the box already carries grease, and brand-new grout picks up marking fast. Clerks check new fittings as hard as old ones, sometimes harder, because the inventory is fresh.
Terraces, and what the check-out actually finds
The Victorian terraces off Chamberlayne Road mostly share the same faults at check-out: sash window tracks, the space behind the bathroom door, and the tops of the kitchen units. Those are on our list at every property size, and the oven is included rather than added.
